- Nearest station: Dorking (Main) — direct trains from London Waterloo & London Victoria (~50 min)
- Alternative: Box Hill & Westhumble Station — ~10 min walk to Rykas
- From Dorking stations, it’s a 5–10 min taxi to Rykas if you prefer not to walk
By Bus:
- Local buses run from Dorking town centre towards Box Hill
- Check routes 465 (Kingston–Dorking) and 32 (Guildford–Dorking)
- Ask for the Box Hill / Rykas stop

What To Wear?
- Base Layer: Materials like merino wool or synthetic fibers work well
- Insulating Layer: Fleece or a lightweight down jacket are good options
- Outer Layer: Should be a waterproof and windproof jacket
- Footwear: Recommended hiking boots or shoes with good ankle support
- Reminder: When investing in hiking boots get 1 size up to leave room for socks)
Depending on the weather, you may also want to wear shorts, sunglasses and other summer fits !
